NEW Small Business Grants




The County of Santa Clara, California and the Small Business Development Center Silicon Valley have launched a grant program for small businesses who are taking protective measures to reduce risk of COVID-19. The program will issue grants of up to $5,000 to small businesses in Santa Clara County that have taken, or plan to take, steps to protect their workers and customers from COVID-19. Applications are now open and the deadline to apply is September 7th, 2021

Some eligible costs include: • Installation or upgrades of air circulation and filtration systems • Protective shields at registers and contactless ordering or payment systems • Hand sanitizer, handwashing stations, and personal protective equipment for employees (e.g., face coverings, gloves, face shields) • Construction or operation of outdoor seating or service areas • Paid time for employees to get tested or vaccinated
