Meet Nick Gaich, part-time Chief Operating Officer for the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce. Nick brings to the chamber more than 45 years of professional experience ranging from executive coaching, organizational development, change management, supply chain management, customer service, service line economics, and clinical research administration. As Chief Operating Officer Nick will be focused on growing the organization's 501c(3) arm and overseeing the various chamber committees and advocacy efforts.

Nick's relationship with the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce began when he submitted a membership application for Craft Roots, the popular plant based food restaurant he operates with his family Ellyn, Justin and Nyssa. Nick quickly fell in love with and jumped head first into the Morgan Hill Community participating in city roundtable and council discussions, becoming President of the Morgan Hill Community Foundation and lending his services as the chamber's first Chief Strategic Officer.

Previously Nick was Vice President of Customer Service and Materials Management and Service Line Administrator for the Orthopedics and Sports Medicine department at Stanford University Medical Center. During his tenure, the Materials Management Department received the Stanford Hospital Malinda Mitchell Service Quality Department of the Year Award becoming the first non-clinical department to earn such recognition. Nick also received the Stanford Hospital Outstanding Contribution and Achievement Award. He retired in 2012 as Assistant Dean of Clinical and Translational Research Operations, Stanford Center for Clinical and Translational Research and Education at Stanford University School of Medicine. Nick is the founder and CEO of Nick Gaich and Associates.

"I am thrilled to announce that both Nick Gaich and Brooke Hoekstra have joined the MHCoC Team. Nick brings a wealth of strategic planning, grant development and community partnerships which he will direct towards building the Chamber's 501c(3) Community Partnership Branch and expanding committee and advocacy efforts across the board. Brooke has extensive knowledge in the areas of sales, marketing and private\corporate event planning which will be directed towards membership expansion, retention and large event management. With the addition of Nick and Brooke to the team, "yesterday's impossibilities become tomorrow's achievements!"
