Meet Brooke Hoekstra, Membership & Events Director for the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce! Brooke brings to the chamber more than 15 years of corporate and private event management experience along with a strong sales and communications background. Her professional experience is both locally and regionally based, having worked as the Director of Events for Guglielmo Winery as well as at the Santa Clara Convention Center including working with the 49ers during the 50th Super Bowl at Levi's Stadium. Brooke was also a member of the Chamber Leadership Team for the City of Santa Clara where she met and discussed various topics concerning the growth and expansion of the city. Most recently, Brooke worked at the beautiful Hayes Mansion in San Jose where she achieved record sales for the sales team.
Brooke's purpose as Membership and Events Director is to create a strong and diverse network for the businesses of Morgan Hill, while at the same time expanding the existing entertainment platform for residents. Her goal is to help businesses and community events get back on their feet and thrive once again. "The challenges of the past year have shown that community is the glue that will get us through any hard time and together we can make our city a place where people flock to visit and enjoy."
Brooke has a passion for Morgan Hill. She purchased her first home here in 1998 where she lived for 10 years with her two sons who played for the Morgan Hill Raiders and attended Barrett Elementary. She is a familiar face in the local entertainment scene as the lead vocalist for a rock band and 1\2 of the duo "Brooke and Emil!"
"I am thrilled to announce that both Nick Gaich and Brooke Hoekstra have joined the MHCoC Team. Nick brings a wealth of strategic planning, grant development and community partnerships which he will direct towards building the Chamber's 501c(3) Community Partnership Branch and expanding committee and advocacy efforts across the board. Brooke has extensive knowledge in the areas of sales, marketing and private\corporate event planning which will be directed towards membership expansion, retention and large event management.
